CPCCWHS1001 (White Card) Prepare to work safely in the Construction Industry

This training is designed to meet the health and safety legal requirement for individuals working in or around the the construction industry. It is also highly regarded in many other work environments that cross over into the construction industry. For example, security operatives on construction work sites. Health and safety legislation describe construction work as any work carried out in connection with the construction, alteration, conversion, fitting-out, commissioning, renovation, repair, maintenance, refurbishment, demolition, decommissioning or dismantling of a structure. An employer must make sure that anyone carrying out construction work has completed and carries with them a valid Construction Induction White Card. This course is designed to train individuals in identifying: • Health and safety legislative requirements within construction work • Construction hazards and risk control measures • Health and safety communication and reporting processes • Incident and emergency response procedures
